  1. I’ve been to Kilgarvan Motor Museum many times and had my old cars serviced in the garage over the years. A great welcome every time and there’s always time for a chat on the latest acquisitions and things going on in the vintage scene. Well worth a visit.

  2. I have been to Kilgarvan motor museum a few times, a fantastic array of cars in a lovely cozy museum, and lovely grounds, you would never know what kind of vehicle/memorabilia you would stumble across on the grounds as well in the museum. Always a great welcome, and great to hear some of the stories of the history of some of the cars in the museum. Trevor is a mine of information on a lot of Vintage Vehicles. Highly recommend anyone reading this to visit.

Just met the Dutch VW mob here in Dundalk on their tour. Wonderful people. I used to live in the Netherlands for a while and it was wonderful to meet them here in their wonderfully turned out VWs. Will absolutely call to the museum when I am back down south again.

  7. This is a great museum with many quality cars. Definitely a place to stop by and recollect on how automobiles were made back in the day and their unique features. Thanks for posting this and keep up the good work!

  8. We would like to thank you so much for your very kind help and assistance that you gave to us with our Sunbeam Talbot that we were touring Western Ireland last week. We returned to the Isle of Wight on Sunday without any further issues. We also very much enjoyed the museum.
We really enjoyed our visit to your country.

  9. I visited the museum last year, and really enjoyed myself. A great little collection of cars, and the owner is very hospitable and helpful, talking to me about each vehicle.
I took a bunch of pictures which are on my website.

  10. We enjoyed our visit to your museum in late April. Hearing John talk about his cars and the connection he and his family have to them was a pleasure. Loved the memorabilia and parts on the walls too. I have, as promised mailed you a Massachusetts plate and a Pennsylvania plate for you license plate collection.

  11. We drove the whole coastline of Ireland in June 2018 (last month) and 500 miles into the journey thought we had a problem with our 47 year old Morris Minor. We were so fortunate to have been staying with someone who knew John and his family and, having made our way to Kilgarvan, John and Trevor checked the car, assured us that all was well and we went on our way to complete our journey and raise nearly £9,000 for the MS Society. Thank you so much and we hope to see you next year when we come for a holiday.
